The City of Heath has facilities available to rent for your family gatherings! Whether it's a kid's birthday party or a family reunion, we have the place for you. To rent a shelter house, call 740/522-1420 x200 for more information.

HOBACK SHELTER HOUSE

The Hoback Shelter House, located at 60 Dorsey Mill Road, is an enclosed facility with many amenities including heat during the winter months. It can seat up to 70 people with tables and chairs provided. There are two indoor bathrooms, an oven, stove, refrigerator, and an outside grill available to add to the convenience of hosting your gatherings. The fees to rent this facility are:

Monday - Thursday $100
Friday - Sunday $150
Holidays $150

CONN SHELTER HOUSE

The Conn Shelter House, located in Geller Park at 580 Cynthia Street, is perfect for you. This large, open facility can accommodate approximately 112 people. There are multiple electrical outlets and two outside grills. While you are enjoying the company of your friends and family, the kids can entertain themselves on the playgrounds nearby. The fees for this facility are:

Monday - Thursday $40
Friday - Sunday $60
Holidays $60

There is a smaller shelter house in Geller Park that is available on a first come, first serve basis with no reservation or rental fee required. This includes three picnic tables that will seat up to approximately 24 people.
